MPIF Radio can be heard live weekday mornings from 9-11am Central Time on ESPN 1440. MPIF is one of the highest rated regional shows in the country, and its broadcast reach covers the entire Texas Panhandle down to Lubbock, all of Eastern New Mexico, Southeastern Colorado, Southwestern Kansas, and the Oklahoma Panhandle as well. Listeners have the opportunity to interact with Warren McCarty as he has a strict policy: “MPIF is your chance…your opportunity…to have your voice be heard.” Warren covers high school, college, and professional football and accentuates the program with discussion on MMA, Boxing, and occasionally Pro Wrestling as well just for fun.
One of the most popular segments of MPIF Radio is the ‘Legends Of The Game Series’. Each week, Warren brings on legendary players and coaches from the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s and shines a light on their careers, lives after football, and their involvement in various business and charitable endeavors. The list of extraordinary individuals is a who’s who among the Pro Football Hall of Fame and the College Football Hall of Fame, with names such as Roger Staubach, Archie Manning, Mike Ditka, Ronnie Lott, Kurt Warner, Joe Theismann, and Sterling Sharpe just to name a few.
Whether it’s guests like UFC Superstars or journalists such as Chris Berman, Peter King or John Clayton discussing league matters, or Charean Williams delivering her Dallas Cowboys Insider Report, or simply listeners responding to Warren’s BATMAN Trivia (Warren is the B ad A $$ T rivia Man), each show is jam-packed with football and fight-game discussion.
