High School Combine

About the combine:

There are essentially 93 high schools North of Lubbock and in far Eastern New Mexico that play football. On National Signing Day in February of 2008, this region produced only 7 scholarship football players. This is despite 7 teams from the region appearing in State Championship games! MPIF has held three combines since then, and the results have been astounding: 106 players who have gone through the combine have received scholarships to play football in college! This equates to $1.15 million in football scholarship dollars!

MPIF brings in former College and NFL standouts at each position to test and evaluate the players in the same format as the NFL combine. That data is then sent to all 848 schools in the U.S. College coaches then evaluate the results, and make contact to acquire film and begin the recruitment of these local athletes. Colleges simply don't come to this region to recruit anymore, thus MPIF is doing much of the legwork for them.

For $100.00, each athlete is tested by a former College and NFL player that played his position and gains valuable one on one instruction as well. Additionally, testing results/pro evaluation is sent to every school in the country, and the athlete and his parents also benefit from the banquet and seminar that includes all the necessary instructions on how to complete the complex NCAA Clearinghouse paperwork, how to develop a highlight film and a resume, when to take the ACT and SAT, etc.

The 4th Annual MPIF High School Combine will be held on Sunday May 22nd this year, with the combine being held at Falcon Stadium on the campus of Bushland High School, with the seminar and banquet being held at the Fifth Season Inn on I-40 in Amarillo on Sunday night.
